WATCH NEW JERSEY FLOOD FLUSHES LITTLE FALLS CARS DOWN RIVER

August 14th, 2018 by

More than 16 vehicles have been pulled out so far

The rainstorms and floods in New Jersey this weekend took the cars of the Little Falls Chrysler dealership and flushed them down the Peckman River.

“It was basically hysterics, basically you didn’t have time to be scared,” resident Maria Florio told ABC 7 News. A towing company had removed 16 cars by Sunday morning.

“They’re all filled with mud, rocks and whatever you can flush into a car. It’s there,” said Vincent Cleffi of Ajaco Towing.

A major cleanup is underway, both for the city and for the cars. And the Little Falls dealership has (hopefully) a major insurance claim to make. In the pile, we can see some Dodge Durangos, Jeep Grand Cherokees, pickup trucks, minivans and sedans — basically the entire Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge lineup.
